The Kriechbaumhof in Munich - Haidhausen is a 17th century building in the style of an Alpine farm at Preysingstrasse 71. Because of its dilapidation, the farm had to give way to its historic location on Wolfgangstrasse in 1976. The building was demolished and the individual parts stored. In 1985 it was rebuilt with many original components.
The monument is registered as an individual monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.
The description reads:
"Former Herbergshaus, so-called Kriechbaumhof, two-storey block building with a shingled half- hipped roof , all-round arbor and partially paneled gable arbor, 17th century re-qualified "
The owner of the "new building" is the Munich Society for Urban Renewal. The construction costs amounted to 1.1 million DM .
use
It was initially a hostel property for many centuries and was inhabited until the 1970s. Today it is used as the club house of the JDAV district association in Munich.
