War memorial (Aschheim)
The war memorial in Aschheim (Upper Bavaria) is a memorial in memory of those who fell in the German War (1866) and the Franco-German War (1870/71). It was built in 1901 and is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.
On a stone plinth with inscription panels there is an electroplating of a warrior created by the sculptor Anton Kaindl . According to the inscription on the plinth, the figure was made by Mayr in Munich. In 1980 it was replaced by a copy.
