Randau war memorial
The Randau War Memorial is a listed war memorial in the Magdeburg district of Randau-Calenberge in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is recorded as a small monument under registration number 094 76860 .
General
The Randau war memorial stands in front of the former rectory on Randauer Dorfstrasse. It is a small cuboid stele on a three-tiered base to commemorate those who fell in the First World War . The monument is decorated with stone balls, oak leaves and an iron cross . The stele has a memorial inscription on the front and the names of the fallen on the sides.
A memorial plaque for the victims of the Second World War was placed in front of the stele .
