War memorial Reuden (Elsteraue)

The Reuden war memorial is a listed war memorial in the village of Reuden in the municipality of Elsteraue in Saxony-Anhalt . The war memorial is listed in the local monument register under registration number 094 86213 as a monument .

The Reuden war memorial is located in the cemetery in Reuden. The war memorial is a stele . This stele was erected in memory of those who died in the two world wars. The inscription is only partially legible as parts of the stele are overgrown with ivy . The inscriptions read Your heroes who remained in World War 1914-1918 Gratefully honors the community of Reuden and In memory of the victims of the World War 1939-1945 and all tyranny . In addition, the names of the fallen are on the sides of the stele.

Right next to the stele is a smaller memorial for those who fell in the war of 1870/71. The inscription on this monument is almost completely weathered.
