Roda War Memorial

The war memorial Roda is a listed war memorial in the Roda district of the city of Osterfeld in Saxony-Anhalt . The memorial is listed in the local register of monuments under registration number 094 86438 as a monument .

The war memorial in Roda was inaugurated on September 2, 1899 and was erected in memory of those who fell in the Franco-German War . It is a stele made of field stones with a memorial plaque embedded in it. The stele stands on a pedestal made of sandstone . The plaque contains the inscription To the glorious campaigns took part: 1866, 1870 - 71 Dedicated by the Roda community on September 2, 1899, as well as the names of the fallen.
