Kris Severson is a retired American ski jumper .

Career

Severson made his debut in the ski jumping World Cup on December 3, 1989 in Thunder Bay . However, he did not manage to win World Cup points in his first year. He did not succeed in the Four Hills Tournament in 1990/91 either, but he was able to place 81st in the overall ranking of the tour.

In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1991 in Italian di Fiemme Val Severson started in two individual disciplines as well as in the team competition. From the large hill he reached the 41st place after jumps on 98 and 91.5 meters. On the normal hill he finished 51st after jumps on 71 and 76 meters. In team jumping he reached 13th place together with Ted Langlois , Mark Konopacke and Jim Holland .

Even at the following World Cups, the ski jumping World Cup 1990/1991 , Severson did not manage to reach the points in the World Cup, whereupon he ended his active ski jumping career at the end of the season.
