Kristian Nippes (born February 11, 1988 in Solingen ) is a former German handball player . The left-hander played in the right back space .
Career
Nippes played in the handball Bundesliga mainly at Bergischer HC , where he began his handball career, and was captain there. From 2009 to 2011 he played at DHC Rheinland , but returned to Bergischer HC on February 14, 2011 due to the contract termination due to insolvency. He ended his career after the 2019/20 season.
Nippes played a total of 47 international matches for the youth and junior national team. In 2009 he became Junior World Champion with Germany. With the A and B youth of the Bergisches HC he became German champion. During the 2009/10 season he was nominated for the first time for the German B national team.
Nippes is a trained wholesale and foreign trade merchant. His older brother Stefan Nippes (* 1986) also played handball.
