Kristian Erik Svensson (born May 10, 1981 in Skövde ) is a Swedish handball player . He is 1.88 m tall and weighs 87 kg.

Svensson, who plays for the Swedish club IFK Skövde HK (shirt number 11) and plays for the Swedish men's national handball team, is usually used in the right backcourt .

Kristian Svensson made his debut for IFK Skövde HK in the Swedish first division. In 2004 he won the EHF Challenge Cup with his club, in 2005 he moved his club to the final of the Swedish championship, where however the IK Sävehof was defeated. In the same year Svensson went to Denmark for FCK Håndbold . With the capital club he won the Danish championship round in the 2006/07 season, but was eliminated in the semi-finals of the play-offs. A year later he finally won the Danish championship with FCK. In summer 2008 Svensson moved to AaB Håndbold , with whom he also won the championship in 2010. He then moved to TuS N-Lübbecke . At the end of the 2013 season, his contract, which ran until 2014, was terminated prematurely and Svensson moved back to Sweden to IFK Skövde HK for the 2013/14 season.

Kristian Svensson has made 56 international appearances for the Swedish national team . For the men's handball world championship 2007 in Germany, he could not qualify with Sweden; at the European handball championship in Norway in 2008 he was only part of the extended squad of his country.
