Kristin Monastery Aasen
Kristin Kloster Aasen (born January 4, 1961 ) is a Norwegian lawyer and sports official.
General
Kristin Kloster Aasen took courses in history and political science at the University of Minnesota until 1980 . She then went to the University of Oslo and studied criminology. In 1990 she became a lawyer. Since 1989 she has been breeding horses for warm-blooded animals in the British county of West Sussex . She works as a consultant and manager for various Norwegian companies.
Sports administration
From 1976 to 1992 Kristin Kloster Aasen was an active horse rider. In 1996 she joined the organizing committee of the Oslo Horse Show . In 2004 she joined the Norwegian NOK, of which she has been the first vice-president since 2015.
IOC membership
In 2017 Kristin Kloster Aasen was elected an IOC member and replaced Gerhard Heiberg, who had retired for reasons of age .
