Kristin Lewis

Kristin Lewis (born August 29, 1975 in Little Rock , Arkansas ) is an American opera singer with a lyric soprano voice .

Lewis graduated from the University of Central Arkansas the Bachelor of Arts and the University of Tennessee the Master of Music . In Vienna , where she has lived since then, she continued her vocal training with Carol Byers . She won several international singing competitions.

Lewis appears at the most important opera houses in the world, such as La Scala in Milan , the Paris Opera , the London Royal Opera House or the Vienna State Opera . She works mainly in the Italian field, especially in operas by Giuseppe Verdi . In 2014 she founded the Kristin Lewis Foundation to promote young musicians from Arkansas. She is also consul of the Red Cross Austria.
