Kristoffer Olsen (born August 8, 1883 in Stokke , † August 4, 1948 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian sailor .

Kristoffer Olsen, a member of the Kongelig Norsk Seilforening was in 1920 in Antwerp at the Olympic Games in the 8-meter class after the International Rule of 1907 Olympic champion . He was a crew member of the Irene , which participated as the only boat in its class. The Irene whose crew also from Alf Jacobsen , Tellef Wagle and Thorleif Holbye was, was enough for lack of competition in two races each reaching the goal to win the gold medal. The skipper of the boat was Carl Ringvold senior .

Olsen was initially an office manager at Ejnar Stensrud & Skien before running the Olsen & Ugelstad shipping company with Rudolf Ugelstadt from 1915 . Due to the increasing demand for oil and the many tonnage losses during the First World War , the shipping company grew rapidly. From 1927 to 1931, Olsen was a city councilor in Oslo . In 1942 he was imprisoned for four months by the Quisling government .
