Kristopher Van Varenberg
Kristopher Julien Van Varenberg (born May 20, 1987 in Los Angeles County ) is an American film actor .
Life
Van Varenberg is the eldest son of actor Jean-Claude Van Damme and former bodybuilder and fitness trainer Gladys Portugues . He has a younger half-brother and sister, actress Bianca Bree . Van Varenberg's parents were married from 1987 to 1992 and married a second time after their divorce in 1999.
In 1992, Van Varenberg played the young Luc Deveraux in his film debut Universal Soldier and thus his father's younger self. Van Varenberg repeated this in The Quest in 1996 , when he took on the role of young Christopher Dubois. In 2002, Van Varenberg played his father's son in the film Derailed - Terror im Zug .
Since 2017 he has been working under the stage name Kris Van Damme, to match his father.
