The 2002/03 season was the twelfth season of the Croatian Ice Hockey League , the highest Croatian ice hockey league . Champion was for the eighth time in the history of the KHL Medveščak Zagreb .

In the main round, each of the three teams played a total of twelve games. All three teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. The best second division team also took part in these. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
