The 2015/16 season was the 25th season of the Croatian Ice Hockey League , the highest Croatian ice hockey league . Four teams took part, champion was again the KHL Medveščak Zagreb II , which relied on players from the KHL team in the play-offs .
Participant and mode
The four participants from the previous year took part in the 2015/16 event. After the main round with twelve games per team, the play-offs for the Croatian championship followed. A win after regular time earned three points, a success after overtime or a penalty shootout was rewarded with two points, while a loss after overtime or a penalty shootout earned another point. The club in question received no point for a defeat after regular time.
