The 2015/16 season was the 22nd season of the Israeli Ice Hockey League , the highest Israeli ice hockey league . The Israeli champion was HC Bat Yam for the second time since 1995 .

Participants in the 2015/16 season

In the 2015/16 season, in contrast to previous years, no regional relays were played, but a main round (as a single round) with ten teams. The games were played in the country's two ice rinks, the Canada Center in Metulla and the Ice Peaks in Cholon .

In the main round, the ten participants each played against each other once. Then the eight best teams played in the play-offs for the Israeli championship title. Each knockout round of the play-offs was decided in a single game.

The HC Metulla team competed as Maccabi Metulla II in the 2015/16 season . The season started on October 23, 2015.
