The 2000/01 season was the eighth season of the Israel Ice Hockey League , the highest Israeli ice hockey league . HC Maccabi Amos Lod became champions for the second time in the club's history .
Top scorer was Yevgeni Kniter , the left winger Eduard Revniaga was voted the most valuable player .
