Monfort Ma'alot (formerly HC Ma'alot ) is an Israeli ice hockey club from Ma'alot , which was founded in 1999 and plays in the highest Israeli league . The home games are played in the Canada Center in Metulla .
history
The ice hockey club, founded in 1999, won the Israeli championship for the first time the following year. Two years later this success was repeated. In the game year 2003, the third championship title was won. After the team was initially denied further successes, the team won the fourth Israeli championship in 2010.
Furthermore, the club took in the seasons 2000/01 , 2002/03 and 2003/04 on the discharge of the IIHF Continental Cup in part. At the first participation in a group with HK Red Star Belgrade , HK Levski Sofia and İstanbul Paten Spor Kulübü a record of one win and two defeats succeeded. In the 2002/03 season, the team lost all three games in their group. The following participation a year later was unsuccessful, the team lost to KHL Medveščak Zagreb and Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák with double-digit results.
