The 2009/10 season was the 17th season of the Israeli Ice Hockey League , the highest Israeli ice hockey league . Monfort Ma'alot became champions for the fourth time in the club's history .

Participant and mode

The championship was played in three rounds - a preliminary round, an intermediate round and the play-offs. In the preliminary round, all eight participants played against each other once, then the four best and the other four teams in the preliminary round played a placement round. The play-offs consisted of a game for third place and the championship final.
