The 2015/16 season was the 22nd season of the Superliga , the highest Turkish ice hockey division . Master was for the second time in the club's history of Zeytinburnu Belediyesi SK , while İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK lost the final series against the champions as in the previous year after winning the main round.

After only four teams took part in the league last year, there were six teams this time thanks to the addition of Gümüş Patenler SK (for the first time since 2000/01) and Büyükşehir Belediyesi Ankara SK (for the first time since 2012/13). These played against each other twice, so that each team had to play ten games. For a win after regular time three points were awarded, a win after overtime or a penalty shootout earned two points and a defeat after overtime or a penalty shootout earned one point; a defeat after regular time was not scored. If a team did not start a game, three points were deducted. This hit the Gümüş Patenler SK and Büyükşehir Belediyesi Ankara SK, who did not play against each other (and did not reach a point in the other games). The first four teams reached the semi-finals, in which the finalists and the participants in the game for third place were determined.
