The KHL Mladost Zagreb is a Croatian ice hockey club from Zagreb , which was founded in 1946 and plays in the Croatian championship . In parallel, he took part in the game operations of the Slohokej League and the Pannonian League in the past .
history
In 1946 the ice hockey departments of HAŠK Zagreb and ZOFD merged to form OFSD Mladost Zagreb. Its men's team won the first two seasons of the Croatian ice hockey championship in 1947 and 1949. In addition, the club also won the Yugoslav championship in both years . In 1986 the club was renamed KHL Mladost ( Klub hokeja na ledu Mladost ).
Although the game in the Croatian ice hockey league was resumed in 1991, it took another 17 years before the KHL Mladost Zagreb was able to win the third championship title in the club's history after 59 years. In the same year Mladost won the Pannonian League for the first time .
