The KHK Red Star Belgrade ( Serbian - Cyrillic Клизачко хокејашки клуб Црвена звезда , Ice Skating and Ice Hockey Club Red Star ) is the ice hockey department of the Serbian Red Star Belgrade sports club from Belgrade , which was founded in 1947 and belonged to the Serbian Ice Hockey League . In addition, the club took part in the Pannonian League from 2007 , which included five teams from Serbia and two from Croatia. After two years in the Slovenian ice hockey league, the club has been playing in the International Hockey League as well as in the domestic league since 2017 . The club plays its home games in Ledena dvorana Pionir .

HK Red Star Belgrade has won the Serbian-Montenegrin Ice Hockey League five times . In 1992 and 1993, as well as in 1996 and 1997, the capitals won two championship titles in a row. The team last won the championship in 2005. In 2013 the club withdrew from the Serbian ice hockey league for financial reasons, but returned a year later. In 2018 the sixth Serbian Championship was celebrated. In the same year the club reached the playoff semi-finals in the new International Hockey League . The seventh championship followed in 2019.
