The season 2019/20 was the third season of the Slovenian Hockey Association aligned International Hockey League with participants from Slovenia , Croatia and Serbia . Due to the Covid19 pandemic , the season was canceled and no champions were played.

New to the league is HD Hidria Jesenice , who works as the farm team of the AlpsHL club HDD Jesenice . The KHL Medveščak Zagreb , whose second team participated in the IHL, was dissolved. Instead, KHL Kuna was renamed Medveščak mladi (youth). Medveščak mladi provided a joint team with the Croatian champions KHL Zagreb , who so far also participated in the IHL. The team was withdrawn after five games.
