The Hokejska zveza Slovenije (HZS) (Slovenian Ice Hockey Federation) is the national ice hockey federation of Slovenia .

history

The association was admitted to the International Ice Hockey Federation on May 6, 1992 . The association is one of the IIHF full members. The current president is Matjaz Rakovec.

The association mainly takes care of the implementation of the games of the Slovenian national ice hockey team as well as the women's national team and the junior teams. The association also organizes games at club level, including in the Slovenian ice hockey league . He is also involved in the supranational leagues Alps Hockey League with the associations of Italy and Austria and organizes the International Hockey League with participants from Croatia and Serbia .
