Ice Hockey Australia
Ice Hockey Australia (short: IHA , formerly: Australian Ice Hockey Federation ) is Australia's national ice hockey federation based in Frankston City , Melbourne .
The organization was founded in 1908, making it one of the oldest ice hockey associations in the world. Ice Hockey Australia has been a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF since 1950 . Nine regional associations belong to the association, and the Australian national ice hockey team , which has participated in international tournaments since 1960, reports to it. Ice Hockey Australia has also been organizing the Australian Ice Hockey League since 2000 .
