Krokøy (Norwegian for crooked island ) is an almost 1.5 km long and irregularly shaped island off the coast of the East Antarctic Kemplands . It is the largest of a group of islands 1.5 km south of Brattøy Island and 10 km west of the Hoseason Glacier .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them descriptively, mapped them using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
