Kroschyn

Kroschyn ( Belarusian : Крошын, Russian : Крошин) is a village in Baranavichy Rajon in Breszkaja Woblasz in Belarus . The postcode is 225362. The village is in the east of the Rajon on the Brest - Minsk railway line . Kroschyn is the center of the Selsawet of the same name .

The place is located on the Shchara River . In the center of the village there is an artificial pond with running water, which was created by the construction of the dam on the Shchara.

Kroschyn was the birthplace of the Belarusian poet Pauljuk Bahrym .

A memorial stone with the inscription " vita brevis patria eterna " ( life is short, home is eternal ) is located on the site of the Body of Christ Monastery, which was built in the 1920s .
