Kryschtof Kosynskyj
Kryschtof Kosynskyj ( Ukrainian Криштоф Косинський , Polish Krzysztof Kosiński ; * 1545 in Podlachia , Kingdom of Poland ; † May 1593 near Cherkassy ) was the Hetman of the Zaporozhian Cossacks in 1586 and the Hetman of the Registered Cossacks in Ukraine in the early 1590s .
Kosynsky was the leader of the first great revolt of the Ukrainian peasants and Cossacks against the Polish nobility from 1591 to 1593 . He died during the siege of Cherkassy in May 1593.
