Kuba Motor is a Turkish motorcycle manufacturer based in Gaziantep in Southeast Anatolia . According to the Statistics Institute of Turkey TÜİK, in 2011 the company manufactured and sold the largest amount of motorcycles in its own country.

history

The company was founded in 2004 by Bekir Müjdeci and has had an average annual growth rate of between 60 and 80 percent. Müjdeci comes from a large family with 11 children and, until he became successful as a motorcycle manufacturer, had tried his luck with selling toys and later with consumer electronics items.

180 employees work in the 25,000 m² company (as of 2012). In 2011, 120,000 motorcycles were produced; 45 percent of the parts come from Turkey, while 55 percent are imported from other countries. The brand is currently distributed by over 280 dealers across Turkey. The biggest competitors in their own country are the motorcycle manufacturers Kanuni and Mondial Motor .

Models

Kuba Motor builds tourers , sports tourers , scooters and quads up to 600 cm³ displacement. Depending on the type, the models are equipped with either an automatic transmission or a conventional manual transmission. The range of models varies and is constantly being expanded as it is a relatively young motorcycle manufacturer.
