The Kubadin Point (English; Bulgarian нос Кубадин nos Kubadin ) is an icy headland on the southwest coast of Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 6.9 km southwest of Cape Smith , 10 km northeast of Sredets Point and 2.9 km southeast of Mount Christi on the southwest side of the entrance to Linevo Cove .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2015 after the town of Kubadin in southeastern Bulgaria .
