The Kubbestolen (Norwegian for round wood chair ) is a 2070 m high and ice-free mountain in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the Kurzegebirge of the Orvinfjella it rises at the north-western end of the Vinten-Johansenegga .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the mountain, mapped it using aerial photographs and measurements made by the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
