Kuchenbach is a residential area belonging to the city of Hennef (Sieg) , which today is assigned to the Hennef district of Lanzenbach .

location

The single farm is located 100 meters above sea ​​level in the Hanfbachtal , but still in the Bergisches Land nature park . Neighboring towns are Rütsch in the southeast and Lanzenbach in the northwest.

history

In 1830, eleven people lived in Kuchenbach. In 1910, the Ackerer Heinrich and Franz Koch households existed in Kuchenbach.

In Kuchenbach there was a stop of the Bröltalbahn , which ran from Hennef to Asbach in the Westerwald from 1892 to 1956 .

Until August 1, 1969, Kuchenbach belonged to the community of Uckerath , as part of the municipal reorganization of the Bonn area , Uckerath, and thus also the town of Kuchenbach, was assigned to the then new, non-official community "Hennef (Sieg)".
