The Kuhberg in Bad Kreuznach found its name in 1912. The story goes that farmer Hans Josef was looking for five of his runaway cows. He found his cows on a mountain. He observed this behavior because it didn't just happen once that the cows ran away from him. So the mountain got the name Kuhberg.
