Career

society

Logarzo started playing football at the age of five but was rejected by the clubs in the first few years due to their small size. In 2011 Logarzo played for the first time for Sydney FC in the W-League . She only made two appearances during the season. In the 2012/13 season she then had twelve appearances and won the championship with Sydney with a 3-1 final win over Melbourne Victory. In the following season she had 13 appearances, but lost in the semifinals against Melbourne Victory with 2: 3 In the Australian winter of 2014, she played in the USL W-League for Colorado Pride and was named Rookie of the Year there. In the southern summer of 2014/15 she played again for Sydney, but failed in the finals again in the semifinals, this time 3-0 to Perth Glory .

In the 2015/16 season she played for the Newcastle United Jets , but only finished sixth in the table with the Jets. She spent the southern winter of 2016 in Europe with the Swedish first division club Eskilstuna United . In Sweden, she made nine league games and two appearances in the 2016/17 UEFA Women's Champions League against Glasgow City FC . In the last league game on November 5, 2017, she suffered an ankle injury, so that nothing came of the intended return to Newcastle.

In 2017 she played in Norway for Avaldsnes IL , where she could not achieve a league goal for the first time. But she scored a goal in qualifying for the 2017/18 UEFA Women's Champions League in a 2-0 win over FK Spartak Subotica . With three wins, the Norwegians qualified for the sixteenth finals, but lost there twice against the women of FC Barcelona . The 4-0 defeat in the first leg at home was their last game for the Norwegians. She returned to Sydney FC for the southern winter. This time the final was reached, but lost 2-0 to Melbourne City. It wasn't until the 2018/19 season that she was able to celebrate the championship again and score the last goal in the 4-2 final win over Perth Glory .

She will spend the Australian winter of 2019 in the National Women's Soccer League at Washington Spirit and at the World Cup in France .

In September 2013 she captained the U-20 team in the finals of the women's Southeast Asian Cup , but lost it on penalties against the Japanese U-23 team. Shortly thereafter, she was also nominated for the women's U-19 Asian Cup . In the first game she scored the first Australian goal in a 6-2 draw against North Korea. Since three more games were lost and only won against Myanmar, it was enough for the Young Matildas only to fifth place.

On November 24, 2013, she had her first appearance in Wollongong in a 2-0 win against China. In 2010, van Egmond made her debut in the Australian national team . She came on in the 68th minute for Lisa De Vanna . For the 2014 Asian Women's Football Championship , where Australia qualified for the 2015 World Cup, and the World Cup, it was not included.

At the 2016 Olympic Games , however, she was part of the Australian team. She was used in the four games, where she was twice in the starting XI. In the quarter-finals against Brazil, she came on for Stephanie Catley after 20 minutes . After a goalless 120 minutes there was a penalty shoot-out. As the seventh Australian shooter, she was able to equalize to 6: 6, but since only the eighth Brazilian scored, Australia was eliminated.

In the summer of 2017, she and the team won the Tournament of Nations , with a total of 109 minutes played in three games. At the 2018 Asian women's soccer championship , she was used in all five games and qualified as vice -Asian champion for the 2019 World Cup.

She was nominated for the World Cup in France on May 14, 2019. She was in the starting line-up in the first game against Italy , but was substituted after an hour when the score was 1-1. In the fifth minute of stoppage time, their team had to accept the goal to make the final score 1: 2. In the second game against Brazil she was again in the starting line-up and scored the goal to equalize 2-2 in the 58th minute. Eight minutes later, they were lucky to have a Brazilian own goal recognized, which the Australians won 3-2.
