Victoria Huster (born September 23, 1989 in Cincinnati , Ohio ) is an American soccer player who has been under contract with NWSL participant Washington Spirit since 2013 .

Career

society

During her studies at Florida State University, Huster played for the university team there and in the summer months for the W-League teams Boston Renegades and Colorado Rush . After a short detour to Western New York Flash in the WPSL Elite , she signed with the Australian W-League participant Newcastle United Jets before the 2012/13 season , for whom she was on the field in all twelve games of the season and scored four goals.

At the beginning of 2013, Huster was committed to ninth place by Washington Spirit in the so-called supplemental draft for the newly founded NWSL in the second round . She made her league debut on April 14, 2013 against the Boston Breakers , and scored her first goal in the NWSL on May 16 against Seattle Reign FC .

In October 2013 she moved back to Australia and joined the Western Sydney Wanderers . After the end of the 2013/14 season she returned to Washington and reached the NWSL play-offs for the first time with the Spirit. In September 2014, Huster moved to Newcastle United Jets on loan again until the end of the year.

National team

Huster played two games for the US U-23 national team in 2010. In January 2015 she was appointed to the squad of the US national team for the first time .
