Amy Bianca Harrison (born April 21, 1996 in Camden , New South Wales ) is an Australian football player who has been under contract with the Western Sydney Wanderers since 2019 . Before that, she played for Sydney FC since 2012 , with whom she won the Australian championship in her first and final season. In 2015 she played for the Australian national women's football team for the first time .

Career

From 2012 to 2019 Harrison played for the Australian first division club Sydney FC in the W-League . In her first season she only had a short game of 21 minutes, but was able to celebrate her first championship right away. The next season she was used in ten season games and scored the winning goal in the 2-1 win against Adelaide United in the fifth minute of stoppage time with her first league goal. As second in the table, they then lost the semi-finals for the championship with 2: 3 against Melbourne Victory. Also in 2014/15 she came to ten league games with two goals. In fourth they lost the semi-finals 3-0 against Perth Glory . In 2015/16 she only had eight appearances and was not used in the finals, in which Sydney lost 4-1 in the final to Melbourne City due to a torn cruciate ligament . She only came back to short appearances in the last two games of the season and in the semifinals of the 2016/17 season. In 2017/18 she was used in nine games of the season, but not in the finals, where Sydney lost the final 2-0 to Melbourne City. In 2018/19 she was able to celebrate her second championship title with Sydney after 11 games. She then spent the Australian winter in the NWSL with Washington Spirit . As the fifth of the league round, the Spirits missed the final round. She then returned to Sydney and now plays for the Western Sydney Wanderers .

National team

Harrison took part with the U-17 team in the U-16 Asian Cup in 2011 , but could only win one game and thus not qualify for the U-17 World Cup 2012. The 2013 U-19 Asian Cup was similar for the U-19 team , with the difference that they scored a goal in their only win against Myanmar.

In May 2014 she was nominated for the 2014 Asian women's soccer championship . But it was not used. Your team reached the final against world champions Japan , but could not defend the 2010 title. The team had already qualified for the 2015 World Cup when they reached the semi-finals. On February 12, 2015, she played for the senior national team for the first time in a 3-2 win over New Zealand in Auckland , but was not nominated for the 2015 World Cup .

In 2017, she made short appearances of 66 minutes in three games at the Algarve Cup .

She was not nominated for the 2018 Asian women's soccer championship . At the end of February / beginning of March 2019 she had three short appearances at the Cup of Nations and on May 14, 2019 she was nominated for the World Cup . At the World Cup, she only had a short stint when she was substituted on in the second minute of extra time against Norway in the second minute of stoppage time at 1-1, but could no longer prevent the penalty shoot-out. Since two of her teammates missed, but the first four Norwegians scored, she was not used and was eliminated with her team.
