The Kuklen Point (English; Bulgarian нос Куклен nos Kuklen ; in the United Kingdom Farmer Point ) is a headland on the north coast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 2.13 km southeast of Avitohol Point and 5.6 km west of Lukovit Point on the banks of Hero Bay .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it that same year after the town of Kuklen in southern Bulgaria . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee , however, named it in 2019 after Paul Farmer (1961-2017), who was polar guide of the British Antarctic Survey from 1992 to 1999 and worked at the Rothera station from 1994 to 1995 and in 1995 as head of the station had acted.
