Kulturbaumpark
The traditional agroforestry systems of the Sudan zone are called the cultural tree park . When clearing, useful trees - such as baobab , Néré , Karité , Anabaum and Borassus aethiopum - are largely spared and field crops, mostly sorghum or maize, are grown. The scattered trees are reminiscent of a park landscape, as long as the crops are not too high.
The trees left out are usually important fruit trees or provide shade and soil improvers.
