The Kulturetage gGmbH is a 1986 under the name of culture and communication center Farbmühle founded by the city of Oldenburg (Oldb) supported cultural and sees itself as a socio-cultural center and offers cultural events for all the population.

With over 50,000 visitors annually, the Kulturetage is one of the largest cultural institutions in the city of Oldenburg and annually organizes the Oldenburg cultural summer with over 80 cultural events for approx. 80,000 visitors.

In the hall with up to 500 seats or up to 1000 standing places, in the "theater k" with approx. 150 and in the "Cine k" with 50 seats, events are offered all year round, including a. Theater (regularly also own “k-productions”), concerts, readings, cabaret, films.

Many projects are repeated annually, e.g. B.

  • the "Voices Festival" and the "Stars" series
  • the theater festival for special educational institutions "Is it normal, ey!"
