Tharika Kumudumali Fernando (born October 13, 1990 ) is a Sri Lankan shot putter .

Athletic career

Kumudumali Fernando gained her first international experience at the South Asian Games in Guwahati , where she won the bronze medal behind the Indians Manpreet Kaur and Manpreet Kaur Jr. with a width of 14.87 m . In 2019 she took tenth place at the World Military Games in Wuhan with 13.81 m and then won the silver medal behind Indian Abha Khatua at the South Asian Games in Kathmandu with 14.35 m .

Fernando became the Sri Lankan champion in the shot put in 2013, 2015 and 2016 as well as in 2018 and 2019.
