With this tour, the Japanese only want to demonstrate their superiority over the Middle Kingdom . The Chinese are to be defeated and humiliated in an impressive manner. The samurai act brutally, disregard the honor of the country and create enemies in the Chinese population through their arrogance.
The great master Chen competes in one of the exhibition matches. He is one of the few who have mastered the high martial art of Wu-Dang, which the Japanese are not up to. So it comes that Chen can defeat his opponents. Shortly afterwards, however, he is murdered by a Chinese collaborator , and his prospective son-in-law is fatally wounded by his Japanese opponent in an exhibition match. His daughter Xuejiao swears bitter vengeance and devises a bold plan. After several hardships, Xuejiao reaches the mountains and meets the old master who takes her in.
