Kuniko Inoguchi ( Japanese 猪 口 邦 子 , Inoguchi Kuniko ; born May 3, 1952 in Ichikawa ) is a Japanese politician and was a member of the lower house for the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) from 2005 to 2009 .

She studied at Sophia University . Then she was a professor and professor of law at this university. In between, she studied at Yale University .

In 2004 she switched to politics and initially took on a role in the Japan Association for International Relations . From 2005 to 2006 she was Minister of State for Gender Equality and the Decline of Births in the 3rd Koizumi Cabinet .

Kuniko Inoguchi is married to Professor Takashi Inoguchi and has two daughters.
