Kuniko Miyake

Kuniko Miyake ( Japanese 三 宅 邦 子 , Miyake Kuniko , real name: Yasu Miura ( 三浦 や す , Miura Yasu ); born September 17, 1916 in Saitama Prefecture ; died November 4, 1992 ) was a Japanese film actress . She appeared in more than 180 films between 1934 and 1991.

Live and act

In 1934 Miyake joined the film company Shōchiku and appeared in the film Yume no sasayaki ( 夢 の さ ゝ や き ) in the same year . She radiated simplicity and serenity and established herself as an excellent supporting actress. In 1941 and then after the war she used director Ozu in a number of films.
