activities

Exhibition in the Wessenberg gallery

For over 150 years it has been the primary concern of the Konstanz Art Association to present current and young art to a broad public in exhibitions and to sensitize them to contemporary art. At the same time, artists and their positions on current topics from art and society are promoted.

The program includes exhibitions by recognized artists from the region and all federal states, but also from the neighboring countries Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria. Positions by young artists are shown to the same extent, and the Konstanz Art Prize is awarded every two years together with the City of Konstanz. As a rule, the members' exhibition concludes the five exhibitions per year. Lectures, concerts, readings and excursions complete the program.
