High Fläming art hiking trail
The Sculpture Walk Hoher Fläming is a system of sculptures trails in High Fläming Nature Park in Brandenburg , the train stations of Bad Belzig and / wiesenburg connects. The 17 km north route was opened on August 5, 2007, the 16 km south route on May 8, 2010. Various connection routes are being planned. The Naturparkverein Fläming e. V. planned and implemented both routes. Funding came from the European LEADER program.
North route
Along the northern route, which leads from Bad Belzig via Hagelberg and Schmerwitz to Wiesenburg, 10 landscape-related works of art were created, which were selected from 114 applications as part of a nationwide competition. The chairman of the jury was Rolf Kuhn , the managing director of the international building exhibition Fürst-Pückler-Land .

South route
The competition for the realization of the southern route, which leads from Bad Belzig via Borne to Wiesenburg / Mark, was announced in January 2009. The topic was the colonization of the Fläming by Flemings 850 years ago. The art competition was advertised in Flanders and Fläming. In a two-stage competition process, six works of art from Flanders and six works of art from Fläming were selected for realization. Rolf Kuhn was again chairman of the jury.

Artistic activities in Hohen Fläming are presented under the umbrella brand kunst land hoch fläming . A project group under the umbrella of the Fläming Nature Park Association. V. designs and implements artistic projects in Hohen Fläming. The first project in 2006 was the Kunstspur , a 2.5 km long hiking trail with works of art designed by local artists. Following the realization of the north route of the art hiking trail in 2007 and the south route in 2010, further projects are planned.
