Alexander Kupprion (born July 12, 1978 in Singen ) is a former German snowboarder in the boardercross discipline .

Alexander Kupprion from the Singen Ski Club competed in his first race in the Snowboard World Cup in January 2003 in Berchtesgaden and immediately won World Cup points as 15th. Just four weeks later, he finished seventh in Bad Gastein, his first place in the top ten. In Arosa in 2004 he was able to achieve a podium finish in third place. In the season he achieved his best result in this ranking with 13th place in the discipline ranking. By 2006, Kupprion had competed in 31 world cup races. He reached 19 places in the points and was nine times in the top ten. First and last major event and highlight of the career were the 2006 Olympic Winter Games of Turin . At the competitions in Bardonecchia he was 36th and was eliminated in the qualification. After the games he only had sporadic appearances in lower-class FIS races and at national championships. In 2007 he came third behind Mario Fuchs and Markus Schairer at the German Championships in Kaunertal .
