The Kurówka , a river in southeastern Poland , is a right-hand tributary of the Vistula . It has its source near the village of Piotrowice Wielkie , is about 50 kilometers long and flows into the Vistula near Puławy . Its catchment area is given as 395.4 km². The more important towns along the river include Puławy, Kurów , Końskowola , Markuszów, and Garbów .
As the river serves as the main water supplier for a nitrogen-producing company in Puławy, it was channeled and separated from the Vistula by a system of dams and sluices. Apart from smaller bodies of water, the river has two important tributaries, the Białka (Kurówka) and the Garbówka .
