The building at Kurhausstrasse 27 in Kurhausstrasse in Bad Kissingen , the major district town of the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen , is one of the Bad Kissingen architectural monuments and is registered in the Bavarian Monument List under number D-6-72-114-398 .

history

The three-storey building was built in 1891 in the neo-renaissance style by the Würzburg architect Karl Weinschenk and once housed a sanatorium. It consists of clinker bricks with a rich sandstone structure. The opulence of the decor, which is atypical for Bad Kissingen, can be found next to the property at Kurhausstrasse 27 in the properties at Am Kurgarten 2 and Marktplatz 18 , which were also built by Karl Weinschenk.

A cast iron fence, also built in 1891, is part of the property.
