Kurt Tucholsky Literature Museum
The Kurt Tucholsky Literature Museum in Rheinsberg Castle is dedicated to the life and work of Kurt Tucholsky .
The museum's holdings include first editions, contemporary literature, and personal documents by Tucholsky, Siegfried Jacobsohn and Carl von Ossietzky .
The exhibition shows letters, autographs, programs, magazines, documents, photos and books, personal items, his desk and the poet's death mask. The museum also offers changing art and literature exhibitions and literary readings. It initiated and oversees the literary scholarship "Stadtschreiber zu Rheinsberg" since 1995.
The Germanist and literary scholar Peter Böthig has headed the museum since 1993 .
