Kurt-Victor Selge

Kurt-Victor Selge (born March 3, 1933 in Bremen ) is a German Protestant theologian .

Life

After receiving his doctorate on July 22, 1961 as Dr. theol. in Heidelberg and his habilitation in 1969 ( norms of Christianity in the dispute over indulgences and church authority 1518 ) there he taught from 1973 as a professor at the University of Heidelberg . In 1973 he was visiting professor in Perth . He was appointed to the Church University of Berlin in 1977.

He headed the Schleiermacher Research Center in Berlin and is a released full member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences (humanities).
