Kurt Andersson

Kurt Andersson (born April 24, 1939 in Malmberget ) is a former Swedish football , bandy and ice hockey player . Both in football and in ice hockey he came to international honors.

Andersson began playing football at Spånga IS before joining Bällsta IK in 1954 . In 1957 he joined the first division club AIK Solna , where he came in his first season, the extended season 1957/58 , as an eighteen-year-old already on 25 missions and was able to achieve twelve goals this season. After 70 games and 31 goals for the Swedes, he moved abroad.

In the summer of 1961 Andersson went to Udinese Calcio in Italy, where he was active until 1964. He then joined the Varese FC . The international professional came on November 4, 1964 for his only international match for the Swedish national team . As part of the qualification for the 1966 World Cup , the national selection began with the German national team . In the Berlin Olympiastadion there was a 1-1 draw.

In 1968 Andersson returned to Sweden and played again for AIK Solna. By 1971 he played 58 top division games for the club. He hit the opponent's housing 14 times. From 1972 he let his career run out in lower-class leagues. First he moved to the fourth division to Ekerö IK . In 1974 he went to league rivals IK Bele , with whom he rose to the third division in 1975.

In 1978 Andersson moved again as a player-coach in the fourth division and immediately made promotion to the third division with Bromstens IK . However, relegation was missed. Then he was player- coach for two seasons at FC Kedjan and from 1984 at Söderhöjden / Vasa . In 1987 he went back to Ekerö IK , where he ended his active career in 1988.

ice Hockey

Like many Swedes, Andersson played ice hockey in parallel to his football career. When he switched to AIK in 1957, he therefore also joined the club's ice hockey team. In 1958 he rose with the team from the second-rate Division 2. In the first division , the final round could be reached as early as 1960. Between 1958 and 1960 Andersson was appointed to the Swedish national team five times . When he moved to Italy in the summer of 1961, he ended his ice hockey career.

Bandy

Andersson was also part of the AIK bandy squad. Although he was considered talented, but he preferred ice hockey and so he came only to a single use for the team in the first division.
